Stopped here for a minute during our weekend getaway to Cedarburg. We walked inside the bridge & saw all of the love notes and carved initials of couples who had stopped before us. It was awesome to see such an iconic piece of history.

This bridge was worth the trip. The park around it was gorgeous. Our dogs loved playing in the stream as well.
We visited the covered bridge in mid-July, just days after heavy rains, and were struck by its breathtaking and serene natural beauty. The plush, deep green grass and the overflowing creek created a peaceful atmosphere. The bridge itself was a stunning testament to the craftsmanship of the past, with its structure held together by large wooden dowels. This detail highlighted the skill and care that went into its construction, adding to the overall charm and allure of the scene.

The bridge itself is in good repair and has a historic marker. Just be aware, however, that there is nowhere to walk or hike here.
