Please be a volunteer so the archives and this building can be open more than once a week (Tuesdays) for 3 hours.(9-12) It's filled with knowledgeable people who are ready to help you search all resources available. Looking for a newspaper from the 1970's? How about the 1870's? Both are here and you can see them in person. Joe is a walking encyclopedia on the Interurban Train, that brought working people, tourists, and families to our community. For a small fee the volunteers can do the research, but better yet become a member and you can search for your own family tree, house Plat maps, or history of your favorite store downtown Cedarburg, or ozaukee county.

The gentleman who showed us around the place was so knowledgeable and kind. We also learned that Limestone is better than concrete between bricks as it doesn't Crack at all and survives earthquakes and water better.
