My boyfriend was dropping off his car and my low tire light came on. I was a half hour from home, but they offered to fill up my tires and took a quick look, even though it was late in the day. Tires were fine, but I greatly appreciate the quick peek. He has always been very happy with their work and I was very grateful for their time.

EDITED: After we posted our review, Jake reached out and apologized for the situation. He told us they would be able to help us, and explained that he had been out of the office during this time and would have handled it differently. ORIGINAL: The fuel pump in our son’s car was replaced 7 months ago. He paid over $700 ($400 for installation and $300 for the pump). Now, just 7 months later, the vehicle won’t start. He had it towed back to Hometown Car Care (costing $300 for the tow) and found out the pump had failed. We were told that since the pump is under warranty, they would replace it with a different brand—but we would still have to pay again for installation ($495). We asked them to reduce or waive the installation fee, since our son already paid for the original installation, the tow, and because the pump they sold and installed failed. They refused to help. This is a very disappointing way to treat a loyal customer—especially an 18-year-old who has now had to pay over $1,500 within 7 months, while making barely $12 an hour at his part-time job.

Dylan was excellent to work with. The car buying process was seamless and actually enjoyable! Hometown has definitely earned my business and I plan on using them again in the future and also as a reputable vehicle maintenance and repair facility. Thank you!

Fantastic experience working with Jake and Miranda on my truck. Was about to drive it down to SC for a move, and my AC went out and I got a flat tire one week before move day. I was expecting to pay an arm and a leg with what the apparent problem was, but they did their due diligence running full diagnostics, and found that the fix was much simpler than originally expected. They were able to find the needed part, which was difficult to find, and get everything fixed right in time for the move. On top of all that, the staff was very up front and communicative, and a pleasure to work with. If I was staying in Wisconsin, I would be a customer for life.
